As some of you may or may not know, my wife serves in the United States Air Force, as a full time reservist, sometimes she is traveling several weeks a month on business. When at home one of her hobbies is that she enjoys her various flowers, potted and what not. However, it always seems to me that every time she gets a new batch of flowers she conveniently is called out on another trip for work and its up to me, yes me, to water her flowers while she is gone.
Hence the headline: "While the wife is away, the flowers must stay" or else my name is mud, not really, but I would feel bad if they all just dried up suddenly. I guess I have been doing such a good Job of it lately that she conveniently volunteered to water our neighbors lawn down the street this past week while they are out of town knowing fully that she would be gone all week as well, thereby by default it was left up to me to do the watering, thank you Honey!
Thank goodness we have received a couple of days of hard rain this week. With a slight chance of rain tomorrow. It has given me a reprieve in regards to our neighbors lawn and every minute counts when you are preparing for the Texas Real Estate Brokers Exam like I am, in which you have to meet certain education and experience requirements first before you can even apply for and once your application is approved, then register for the exam.
So I have included some photos of her flowers that I took in the past few days to prove they are still alive. How do you think I did so far? Despite the rain, because of the times of day we received it, I still have been out there each night watering.

A little curb appeal is always a good thing in regards to maintaining or sprucing up the aesthetics of your home. If you are ever in need of an Real Estate Professional to help you locate your next home to plant your garden, please give John Hrisco & Associates a call.
p.s. wanted to give a special shout out to Kristine Ginsberg, Todd Clark, and many others in the rain here for the inspiration on creating posts like this one. (just what do I do with all the pictures of our flowers?)
