Northeast Tarrant County Real Estate Texas | 1st Ever Active Rain Meetup Scheduled
In Honor of ActiveRains’s 1st ever Virtual Rain Camp scheduled for 8 September 2011, ActiveRain Members across the United States and Canada are hosting ActiveRain Meetup Groups the week of September 5-9th , in conjunction with next weeks 1st ever Virtual RainCamp.
I think the idea of a virtual raincamp is a fantastic idea. After personally attending what became known as ActiveRain’s 1st ever “Tornado Camp” here in Dallas back in May, and shortly there after now the 2nd to last live RainCamp, I feel privileged to have been a part of such an historical RainCamp and to have met so many wonderful and new ActiveRain friends., but I think the idea of the virtual RainCamp is something long overdue.
After seeing the lineup for the Seattle RainCamp the month after the one in Dallas, I really wanted to attend it but could not because of several factors. Now with the Virtual RainCamp, a 1000 lucky members of ActiveRain who registered in time and long on to the RainCamp early enough will be able to attend live online from the comfort of their own home or office.
I just saw the lineup and it is outstanding: Ben Kinney, Katerina Gasset, Chris Alston, and probably a few others, it is definitely not to be missed.
In the tradition of most real estate or business marketing conference one attends, there is the traditional Happy Hour Networking event that usually follows a conference you attend in person. Well, just because this is virtual, doesn’t mean here locally we can’t carry out the time honored tradition of the Happy Hour Networking event that follows most conferences.
Which leads to the reason for this post. I volunteered locally to arrange and find a location for the Tarrant County | Northeast Tarrant County Texas ActiveRain Local MeetUp. Well, I am happy to report that after scouring the area for an appropriate place to hold such an event I believe I have done just that.
So the Tarrant County | Northeast Tarrant County ActiveRain Local MeetUp will be held at Grill-1709 in Keller, Texas located at 1632 Keller Pkwy, Suite 100 Keller, Texas 76248. Grill-1709 a Gastrobar is is located in a great location here in Northeast Tarrant County, in the city of Keller. Grill-1709 features a reasonably priced menu with: soups & appetizers, salads, grill fired pizzas, sandwiches, and entrees. It also features a daily Happy Hour from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. So this Rainer just might be taking part in the 1st ever Virtual RainCamp live from the location.
The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and contemporary all at the same time. It features large flat screen TVs located around the outer walls of the establishment for your sports viewing pleasure. But at the same time, it doesn’t come across as a typical looking sports bar. To me it looks like a bar and grill you would find somewhere in downtown Dallas or Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth. It also features a very nice outdoor patio area with a covered patio (redwood arbor structure). See pictures below. The staff is warm and friendly and are looking forward to hosting our 1st ever Tarrant County | Northeast Tarrant County Texas ActiveRain Local Meetup.
The MeetUp is scheduled to start at 5:30pm on 8 September 2011 following the Virtual RainCamp earlier that day and should end around 7:30pm (ish) or whenever we get tired of each other. Bonus, there is a smoke shop next door for you Cigar Lovers like me, so I might be checking that place out before hand. For Directions click here:>>

I look forward to seeing you there and if you have any questions regarding this MeetUp, feel free to contact me directly.
