Out-n-About in Cowtown | Northeast Tarrant County | Arlington, Texas | Rangers BallPark in Arlington | 2011 World Series
I just wanted to give a quick shout out to “Your Texas Rangers” this weekend as they prepare to take on the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 3, 4, 5 of the 2011 World Series at Rangers BallPark in Arlington, Texas.
I have been a life-long fan of the Texas Rangers Baseball Club dating back to the 70’s when they first moved to North Texas and Northeast Tarrant county when my father took me and my little brother to Ranger’s games every summer. I still remember my mother packing lunches for us to take to the game. Ah, those were the days, no bringing your own lunch to today’s sports venues.
It’s us against the in-laws, because my wife (pictured above, middle of pic, smiling) in both pictures, is from St. Louis, most of her family is rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals. If this was any other year, I would be rooting for the Cardinals too, but not this year. Go Rangers!!!
